The Tea Party effort is a grassroots, collaborative volunteer organization made up of everyday American citizens from across the country. We are patriotic Americans that want future generations of Americans to enjoy the same freedoms and liberties we have enjoyed. This will not be possible if we continue to allow Washington to continue looting the American Citizenry. Every day Americans are waking up to the reality that our elected Representatives are not representing us. Our founding fathers wanted our government to be a limited government. And, part of our efforts is to remind our elected officials that they have limited powers. Our message is simple: Stop the bailouts, repeal the pork, cut spending, stop printing money, stop exploding the national debt and cut taxes.

Big government, fiscal irresponsibility and the nanny state are the roads to perdition. A government that gives you everything will also take everything away from you when it becomes politically expedient. Our government must practice fiscal responsibility instead of adopting failed European socialistic policies that lead to stagnate economies, welfare states and mediocrity. In simple terms: The spending and borrowing threatens American greatness. The future of our country is literally in the hands of the people.
